Sensei, Parents and Karateka

I apologise for the short notice but the Free State Karate Federation only notified me on 20 July that they are not able to send a sufficient team to GN on 31 July 2010 to compete at the scheduled Inter-regional Championship. Several other events contributed to these circumstances and they apologised profusely.

After weighing the different options it was decided to postpone the event to coincide with the KSA Children’s National Championship which will be held in Centurion on 18 September 2010. It will obviously be hosted at a different venue and require proper planning and coordination but I trust that the instructors and parents will all give a helping hand in the preparations. We are aware of the fact that some students qualified for the Nationals (A-Team) in one division and the Inter-regional (B-Team) in another and we’ll do our utmost to still accommodate these students at both events. More details about venue, times etc will be sent to everyone as soon as it is finalised. This new date might not suit everyone and if anyone would rather withdraw from the team they can contact me directly so we can arrange a refund of the fees paid.
