Shoto Ryu Karate Club is affiliated with a national style body called Japan Karate Shotokai (JKS). See www.jks.co.za. Our Chief Instructor is Shihan Norman Robinson. We are also affiliated through our regional body, KAGANO, with Karate South Africa. We teach Shotokan karate, which is a sport style karate. The club has produced a number of karateka that has represented Gauteng North and South Africa (Protea Colours).
